To View Our Samples:

To view our sample files, your computer should have the following software programs installed. You can view our recommended computer system requirements on the Head to the Heart FAQ page.

Keep in mind that you will receive your membership resources pre-loaded on a series of CD-ROMs. You will not need to download the files from the Internet. But, for your convenience, they will be available on the Internet as a back-up.

Get Adobe Reader

All of our printed files are distributed in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. You can view any of our PDF files with the free Adobe Reader software.

Microsoft Powerpoint

To view our sample multimedia teaching presentations you will need a full-version of Microsoft PowerPoint® installed on your computer. PowerPoint® is available as a stand-alone program or as part of the Microsoft Office software bundle. Unfortunately, Microsoft's free PowerPointŪ Viewer is not fully-compatible with a number of our advanced Flash-integrated PowerPoint® slides.

Get the Adobe Flash Player

Many of the advanced features within our Microsoft PowerPoint® presentations utilize Adobe's Flash™ technology. Chances are Adobe's Flash Player is already installed on your computer but you should make sure you have the latest free version installed.

Download iTunes

To listen to our music samples, you will need a media player installed on your computer that plays MP3 files. Windows computers probably have Windows Media Player pre-installed. Apple's iTunes is also a great easy-to-use free media player for both Windows- and Macintosh-based computers.

Zip Files

We bundle each of our PowerPoint presentations into a single ZIP folder. This allows you to download your presentation as a single file. When you open (unzip) that folder, all of the needed files are in one place on your computer's hard drive. You no longer need to download a separate PowerPoint file, music file, theme music file, etc.

If you are using Windows XP or Macintosh OS X, you should be able to open up the ZIP folder without any additional software. (Windows XP users can right-click on the folder and select "Extract All.") If you are using an older version of Windows, you may have to download and install a second-party ZIP file manager.
